When the "TREND" changes direction, our strategy changes to a "Sell Short" / "Buy to Cover" strategy.
The back-tested results are reported on the visible signals. If some of the signals were bypassed (according to guidelines), the profits would be larger.
The "Short and Hold Return" results are as follows when the trend lines turned negative:
The first drop beginning 10/30/2007 is 13.55 (the summary report shows as negative but remember, we are shorting)...
The second negative drop beginning 6/17/2008 to 666.79 is 40.21...
